Position Overview

The Director of Ticketing Sales for CT United FC will be responsible for overseeing and driving all ticket sales strategies and execution. This position will play a vital role in generating revenue through innovative ticketing solutions and fan engagement initiatives, ensuring an exceptional fan experience while meeting and exceeding ticket sales targets. The Director will work closely with marketing, operations, and corporate partnerships to develop comprehensive sales programs that align with the team's brand and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive ticket sales strategy aligned with organizational objectives, including the design and implementation of diverse ticketing packages including premium suite sales, seat tickets, group sales and mini-packs.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including season ticket members and the local corporate community.
  • Attend in-house and community events to promote ticket sales and engage with fans.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service across all touchpoints, developing programs to create customer loyalty and retention.
  • Work with the front office leadership, marketing, and corporate partnerships to create compelling sales campaigns and align strategies with overall business goals.
  • Collaborate with Finance to develop and manage the ticket sales budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum ROI.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external ticketing partners to ensure efficient coordination and optimal ROI, utilizing ticketing analytics and CRM tools to identify growth opportunities, monitor sales performance, and guide future strategies.
  • Oversee all aspects of the season ticket renewal process, including invoicing and inventory management.
  • Ensure consistent sales processes, including outbound sales calls, prospecting, lead generation, and follow-up. Establish KPI metrics and monitor performance against goals.
  • As the team grows, hire and train ticket sales and service staff to establish a high-performance culture based on collaboration, ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance ticket sales production.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the team's success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ticket sales, preferably in sports or entertainment.
  • Previous management experience is required.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing teams effectively.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficient in ticketing software and CRM systems.
